    Description

    This is a vintage heavy metal mailbox recently found in an estate... It appears to be homemade & weighs over 13 pounds... It measures 18" long... It is 10" high at the back & 6 3/4" high at the front... The front latch has a loop that you could put a padlock on but there is no slot to drop the mail in if it were locked shut... There is an "edge" at the bottom like the domed roadside mailboxes so it can be mounted on wood... If it were mounted directly to a wall you would need the leave a little space at the top so the hinges would not bind up & it would operate correctly... It has a homemade flip up mail "flag" on one end... It would be a neat addition to an old rustic farmhouse collection... Please see all photos... Buyer pays .95 s&h in the U.S... Thank You!!!!
